It is not always a beautiful day on the North Coast of Oregon, so when the temperature rises to 70 degrees with a blue sunny sky, I grab a tote and head to the sandy beach. Seaside’s beach is set between Tillamook Head and the Neacoxie and Neawanna River. The sand is sprinkled with assorted shells and driftwood which I harvest for beachy crafts.
I wanted to take a photo of a shell on the beach and caught my shadow! It was fun to gather all the shells. I feel so blessed to be able to enjoy the beach for relaxation, exercise plus gather materials for FREE!
This is my pile of treasures. Feathers for mermaid crowns and mermaid necklaces. Dainty shells for decorating frames and mermaids and larger clam shells for little wall hangings that sell in local shops and my Etsy Shop, WhimsiVille.
