Merry Mermaids Day One

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI hereby proclaim it Merry Mermaid Week and the posts will be all about mermaids.  Why? Because Mermaids SELL and I have to get my rear in gear getting ready for my “Merry Mermaids” booth at the convention center in November.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThese are the supplies you need to make your Merry Mermaid.  I get stacks of Dollar Tree frames and paint them with Alcohol Ink. I like using alcohol ink because it dries quickly and covers great, plus it doesn’t chip!  Have you ever been frustrated by seeing something on the internet and not knowing where YOU can get it?  That won’t happen here because I  like to give folks my sources.  I got the mermaid clip art from BadaBling Digital on Etsy, I made the clip art curtains myself by scanning a photo from a old book on French Décor into my computer and changing the colors with my photo software. Got the cool background from Bella’s Clip Art on Etsy.

Inspiration to take a deep breath and accomplish the task!

These beauties are listed for sale in WhimziVille and I’ll be making similar mermaids for Sunrose and my booth at the Holiday Gift Faire.  More mermaids are waiting in the wings for Mermaid Week!
