Wreathapalooza Number One
I am in love with doodle art and found examples of shells on the internet that I drooled over. But I avoid any craft that takes too much investment in time because I can’t get my $$$ out of it. I got a stack of Caspari napkins at a garage sale the other day and wondered if I could decopauge the napkin to actual shells. TA DAH it worked!
I found these images on 123rf, but paper would be too stiff to work on actual shells.
The napkin is covered with shell images and I glued some of the images on to actual shells and some of the shells I glued to foam core that I picked up at Dollar Tree. The foam core cuts REALLY easy, and I just cut the pieces out and glued on a mix of actual shells and the foam core look a likes.
The wreath is soooo fresh and beachy, and I will add it to my inventory for my Merry Mermaid booth in November.
The first wreath was so fun to make and ideas keep tumbling out of my head so I decided to MAKE A WREATH page and add each new wreath post here. My goal is to have 24 fresh and affordable inspiring wreath ideas. I am calling the collection “WREATHAPALOOZA”
