I found a little bottle of “Good Thoughts” at a garage sale recently. The bottle was in next to new condition for 50 cents…YAY! I like to make little silly dolls because they make easy gifts.
Here are the supplies, the bottle, a candlestick, materials for a skirt, a wood ball and printout for the head and sheet music for the crown. I love Boursin cheese that comes in a 3 pack at Costco. I use the foil packaging for lots of projects.
The doll head easily removes so the contents of the bottle can still be used. I picture this doll as a gift instead of flowers to a recuperating patient, or for a 40th birthday party gag gift. I sell dolls similar to these at Sunrose Gallery in Seaside I price them at $24.00 and they are definitely worth my time since it cost less that $3.00 to make!
