Some decorating styles come and go but shabby chic is here to stay! I find lace, rhinestones, chenille bedspreads and crocheted items at garage sales all the time. If the price is right it, it’s going home with me.
The angel ornament was a project to use up some of my crochet scraps. I purchased the angel head cabochon on Etsy and printed out a parchment paper wing.
It is fun to experiment with crochet scraps and a little hot glue. A ribbon rose is a nice shabby chic finishing touch.
I wrapped the Dollar Tree wreath form with strips of a chenille bedspread and hot glued strips of crochet and doily. The paper roses are from the wedding section at Michael’s.
I used the same technique for this wreath. I got the flowers from a garage sale and tea stained some seam tape for a dramatic touch. Beaded Christmas garland adds some extra drama.
I have one more day of inventory for Every Husband’s Nightmare Bazaar! Tomorrow I will feature all my Beach Themed and Whimsical creations. Whew, almost done!
They are lovely!. =)
