It was cold and cloudy, but NO RAIN! Here at the North Coast of Oregon the ocean wrecks the weather forecast. It was supposed to be sunny according to the five day forecast. So I put on my winter clothes and hopped in the car. Only two sales were listed in the paper but I happened on to two more. I LOVE THE HUNT! lol
So here are my upcycle plans:
Kathy owner of Sunrose Gallery will be happy that I FINALLY found another silverplate teapot.
I have made several versions of this art doll and they get a place of honor in the front window. You can check out the post “A Real Teapot Jackpot” to see the details on the upcycle.
Kathy will be so happy I finally have the supplies to make another “Mermaid’s View” collage. I have been waiting to find a new necklace to decorate the back of her head.
Check out “Merry Mermaid’s Day Four” for the how-to.
The wire rack looks like an easy upcycle into a hanging lamp featuring one of those fabulous “Edison” light bulbs! The green votive candle holder looked like a crown to me and the wooden votive holder fit perfectly for the base. I am thinking “Queen of Green!”
The painted canvas would make a cool background for a wire earring tree display that popped into my head this week.
I will work this week on my makeovers and give you a report as soon as they are finished. I love my job : )
