Wow all these upcycled ideas were really fast and easy to do. Here is a photo of the Garage Sale Report #3:
The lamp was especially easy. I use my Dremel to file off the loops and bottom pieces.
I decided on red spray paint that is formulated to adhere to plastic as well as metal. After it was dry, I cut 4 pieces of vellum paper into the width of 5.75″. I used a dab of hot glue to secure 2 pieces together. It was amazingly easy to weave the vellum paper in and out of the rungs! I had a white chain swag light kit and it was easy to hook the chain links on each corner.
The Queen of Green was really simple also!
I have many digital downloads I purchase on Etsy so I went through my stacks and printed out the Victorian face and the “Fairy Ladies”. I also printed out the words “vibrant”, “gifted” and “visionary”. Apply a generous supply of glue stick and adhere on each side.
The earring tree was the MOST FUN to do! I used the navy blue canvas picture as the backing for this really fun earring display. I am posting a step by step tutorial in this post: Easy Wire Jewelry Tree
Love the earring tree!!!
