Wow, wow, wow, I had so much fun playing with the sheet of pebbles that I got at a garage sale this last weekend! The sheet was leftover from a new bathroom shower install and I got it for $1.00.

The pebbles come off the webbing easily with hot running water and a rubbing motion with your fingers after the glue gets soft. I played with decoupage, doodle art, and stenciling them too.
DOODLE ART IDEAS:

I read that SAGE is a trending color so I painted my 10 x 10 with acrylic paint and doodled with white jelly pen. I do like the freshness of the SAGE paint.

DECOUPAGE IDEAS:

The owls turned out so cute they would make darling bowl fillers, but I couldn’t keep from trying some mixed media ideas!

I love play on words and the darling little owls do make quite a family!
MIXED MEDIA IDEAS:
I had some whimsical scrapbook paper that made the perfect background for this pebble flower.
STENCIL IDEAS:

It is fun to doodle the edges for a pretty effect and finish look. I think the sage paint is so fresh and beachy. I used little arrow and feather stencils with white paint pen.
You can get outside and gather pebbles or go to a big box hardware store and get a sheet of the ones I used. Either way you will have fun playing with them and most of these ideas are family friendly for a fun summer craft to keep the kids busy!
