Garage Sale Report #8

WIND CHIME FEATUREI have been really busy getting ready for my Featured Artist Show at Sunrose Gallery this Saturday July 7th!  I got a lot of loot last weekend and have delayed bragging about it!

First, I finally polished off the last item from the sales a few weeks ago, remember the drill motor bulb planter that I planned to turn into a wind chime?

I have the oyster shell wind chime hanging in my backyard now and I like that it is colorful but not too noisy!

Now on to the next garage sale report:

I got so much stuff I had to take 2 photos, so this is a close up of some of it. The photo below shows all the fabulous finds together.

This is what I plan to do:

I have already started on the “Sushi” piece:

I have started on my lamp idea also:

And I am working on the driftwood wall hanging:

I want to have the driftwood wall hanging and the “Sushi” finished for my Featured Artist Show on Saturday, but time will tell!!!!

I am really excited about the canvas art I got + the “Starry Night”.  I am planning to make two more lighted pieces with the gallery wrapped canvases and since the “Starry Night” is really faded I will have to decide if I will use glitter or paint to brighten it and make it a lighted piece also.

So that is my Garage Sale Report I need to get to garage sales this weekend because when garage sale season is over, it’s over but I sure don’t lack for projects. WHEW!
