Whew, it has been a whirlwind week using all the jewelry elements I found at garage sales last weekend! I finished up the week with a stained glass window project with the gorgeous moody blue beads that were a perfect match for some stained glass that has been sitting on the shelf for quite a while.
The plan was to make two new valances using the beaded necklaces, but I ran out of energy and inspiration for the green necklace. Maybe next week? Probably not. LOL
I used up all the beads in the necklace making these 4 inch long “bead strands”. The idea for the Stained Glass Window Valances popped in my head driving down the freeway in Portland, Oregon back in 2003! I sell them in my Etsy Shop: “LittleLaLaOriginals“.
The little pile of jewelry elements from last weeks garage sales has turned into a bevy of beauties ready to go out into the world and find a new home. YAY!

I need to get my ArtEmboss order from Dick Blick before I can work on the cool lampshade makeover using the brass fasteners.
Hope you have a great weekend! It is First Saturday ArtWalk tonight and I am really looking forward to meeting folks who pop into Sunrose Gallery and seeing the new art from their featured artist Zemula Fleming!
Very clever, creative work Patty.
