I found an unused bottle of Ranger Glossy Accents in a bin and thought….hmmm what could I do with you? This pretty white frame that I got at a garage sale has been sitting around for a while and I had the supplies to try this beachy picture frame. I put the shell buttons to hold a skinny piece of twine on the front of the frame but it would be just as cute with the twine and picture clipped under the glass.
I started by sprinkling craft store sand artfully all around the frame. Then I set down the two larger shells in opposite corners and all the pearls. After I liked the pattern of the sand I squeezed the GLOSSY ACCENTS over all the sand, the medium is thick and stays where you squeeze… YAY>
With the first layer of sand completely covered, I added a pinch of this and that into the GLOSSY ACCENTS.
If the medium layer was too thin, I squirted more so the new stuff would stick.
I like to leave areas with more sand than “stuff” .
I tied cotton twine into the button holes. I like the look of the extra string sticking out.
When I had the sand and extra beachy elements where I liked them, I put a pinch of sand in the middle of the glass and rotated the glass so all the sand moved with gravity and the medium was covered where the sand and the glass meet for a finished “edge”.
This is a really easy craft that even the kids would have fun making! It is perfect to showcase a happy summer memory.
Great idea! I had never heard of glossy accents before. Another thing to put on my “crafts to try” list 😀

LOL it is amazing all the craft materials plus they are coming out with more all the time! I don’t know how long ago I bought Glossy Accents and forgot about it.
