The cashier at Goodwill held it up and said what is this? I replied I don’t know but now it’s going to be hair!
I think it is a broom, but I don’t know if it is just decorative or meant to be used. It was marked $2.99 but green tags were 1/2 price. YAY! I also gathered the leftover pieces of the leather pouch I have been using all summer and a necklace I got at a garage sale recently.

My “Queen of Fall’s” hair reminds me of a gal at high school who was very popular. She was voted “Best Hair” and her magnificent blunt cut hairdo was never out of place. It was so thick and expertly cut. When she moved the hair separated into chunks like this beauty.
The beautiful face is from a coffee table book I have of vintage faces and it was fun to repurpose it into a celebration of fall.
I used hot glue for each layer of her hair and embellished the leather band with one style of metal leaves. Glass bead strands flow from her hair and end with another style of metal leaves. The 10 x 10 is finished with some signature Ranger Stickles swirls!

Happy Fall!
I know it’s not fall yet…but it is starting to feel like fall and I can’t help myself. LOL
No bad hair days with your former classmate or the “Queen of Fall” either.
