I experienced the thrill of the hunt this summer! The majority of the things I made have found a home in galleries and shops in the area. This post is about my favorite makeovers. And I am happy to say these were not only my favorites, but they have flown off…by being purchased…to a new home!
This is my favorite of all upcycles this summer!
It was so fun to have this sushi piece turn out just like I imagined.
This piece sold to a nice young fellow who bought it for his sweetie.
This is a good way to use up old broken jewelry pieces….I have enough pieces to make another one.
I am so happy this sold. I had the idea for two other necklace pictures, then I thought “what am I doing….who is going to buy this?” Since it sold I am going to put the two other necklace pictures together….YAY! The gal who purchased this has Parisian decor in her bedroom.
Little collages like this sell because the price point is under twenty dollars.
Beachy decor always sells!
This wreath was the biggest surprise how cool it turned out because I just kept trying.
Van Gogh is a big seller….teehee
I think this is the most creative upcycle this summer, I love how it turned out.
See how those phrases sell art?
This is the only porthole that has sold out of the set of four…but Christmas is coming?
This piece sold at one of our ArtWalks which is proof how telling the story helps make a connection. I told the fellow who was looking at this piece that it was a tribute to Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain….I wish it wasn’t too late for them to love their life! The fellow immediately pointed to it and said put a sold sticker on it.
It has been fun making a weekend list of garage sales and hunting for stuff. But the summer is wrapping up and they will be few and far between. Hello Goodwill. LOL.
What treasures you have created. My favourite is the one with all the necklaces. 🙂
