I often use some table confetti I got at a garage sale as a photo prop and was constantly having to remove these pesky spiders from my pretty pile.
I considered tossing them in the trash then it dawned on me some folks would actually like spider earrings for trick or treat. Since there was a learning curve how to punch a tiny hole in each spider I ruined a bunch of them. Usually it would grieve me to ruin something but I was emptying the jar!
I have a tiny hole punch and discovered the plastic collapsed when I punched it. From past experience I know sometimes you need a paper cushion to get a clean punch….it worked.
Put the confetti spider in between a piece of paper that has been folded. Hold the paper up to light to see the silhouette.
Now you can use a tiny punch to see exactly where to punch it.
Now the spider is ready for jump rings and you can use chains or eyepins like I did.

Spiders make me say EEK in real life, but someone will like these for their trick or treat outfit.
Since I had witches in the confetti I decided to try the same trick to turn these into trick or treat earrings.
Creative for sure and right time of year for them but spiders are not for me! Not even fake ones. 🙂 Sorry!
