Easy Christmas Tree Earrings

I love going through the Dollar Tree store in my area.  You never know what you will find because they have so many seasonal items.  I found this pretty green wire in the floral section and was amazed how easy the wire is to work with.

After a little experimentation I found the perfect tool to use to make a Christmas tree shape: needlenose pliers.

Step 1:  Grab the end of the wire at the base of the needlenose and tightly wrap the wire close together four times.

Carefully pull the wire off the needlenose pliers.

Step 2:  Use wire cutters to snip the wire as instructed in the photo above.

This is what it should look like after the snip.  Now you can put the wire back on the needlenose pliers.  You will notice the pliers are “skinnier” now because the wire you cut will allow the tree to go on further down.

Wrap the wire all the way to the top of the needle nose.

Snip the wire leaving a 1″tail

Turn the tail into a loop and pull the tree off the needlenose pliers.
