Hate to brag but I scored this week at Goodwill in Longview, Washington. I got a package of jewelry and could hardly wait to get home and dump it on the table to see all my treasures.
I also got another silver plate tray so I could make another Advent Calendar plus some canvas boards to make collages.

The new advent calendar came together and I think the round tray is just as pretty as the oval original.
I made the original for December First Saturday ArtWalk and it sold before ArtWalk even started! YAY! You can click on the photo of the original tray to learn how to make one for yourself.

I have ideas for mixed media collages and repurposing ideas for some of the necklaces it is so inspiring to have a colorful stash of possibilities! I love my life…LOL. Stay tuned to see what comes out of this beautiful pile of Goodwill goodies.
So much fun wrapped up in one plastic bag. I can’t wait to see what you create. I LOVE thrift store shopping for art supplies. Love your tray too. I can see that selling fast.

Thank goodness folks give their castaways to thrift stores instead of the landfill!!!!

That is a great stash! I’m always on the lookout for old jewelry to use for for mosaic pieces.

I worked at a thrift store for 5 years and the bagged jewlery surprise bags (odds and ends) where very popular. Love how you do art with them

Thank goodness for thrift stores because you can find stuff you could NEVER buy in a retail store. If I worked at a thrift store, I would probably not take home a paycheck because I would buy all the goodies. LOL
