I was pleased when I straightened some drawers in my studio I ran across more beach themed Caspari brand napkins.

I recently had a pow wow with Cathy, owner of Sunrose Gallery here in Seaside, Oregon and she loved the piece I did recently that had the saying ” The beach makes me feel like a million dollars.” I mean sand dollars, LOL. She requested I make several new pieces with that saying.
Last year I made this wreath with the Caspari napkins and it was very popular so I tried making a 6 x 12 assemblage using the napkins. I have enough of the napkins that I can make several of these this summer as they (hopefully) sell.
I cut 3 pieces of foam board to simulate the sand dollars and used actual shells to decoupage with the napkin pieces.
I cut a 6 x 12″ piece of 300 lb.watercolor paper and attached the foam board sand dollars and shells. I still have some shrink film (I am soooo addicted to it) and made a banner with the saying that I hope will be a big seller this year. Then I applied a watercolor border with a few splatters for good measure.
Last, I I ordered a 6 x 12 white wood frame for this assemblage, but it hasn’t arrived yet. I also ordered three more 6 x 12 canvas boards and plan to make at least three more of these assemblages to sell this summer.
So I will wait patiently for Spring Break when the tourists descend on our little town!
So pretty. What a cool idea!
