Christ is risen!  He is risen, indeed!

Happy Easter!  Happy Resurrection Day!  This is a day Christians around the world join together in unity and belief to celebrate our Lord and Savior giving his life so we can have eternal life.  He died on Friday but on Sunday everything changed.  YAY!

I became a follower of Jesus when I was 10 years old.  My Sunday school teacher taught us a song that became a pattern for my life:

I met Jesus at the cross roads,
Where the two ways meet;
Satan too was standing there,
And he said ‘ Come this way,
Lots and lots of pleasures I can give to you this day.’
But I said ‘No! there’s Jesus here,
Just see what He offers me:
Down here my sins forgiven,
Up there, a home in heaven;
Praise God that’s the way for me.

There was a crossroad in my heart and I am so glad I made the choice to go on the “Jesus road”.

Jesus is Savior and Lord.  When He died on the cross, he paid the price for the sins of the whole world.  That’s why we call Him Savior because if we ask Him to forgive our sins His response is instant forgiveness. He saves us from our sin and gives us eternal life.

Jesus is Savior and Lord.  When we decide to be a follower that means we FOLLOW! “Jesus is Lord” means He is the leader in our heart and we learn to follow Him.  Reading the Bible, praying, and having friendships with other believers helps us stay following.  So far, so good…I’ve been walking on the “Jesus road” 58 years  :  )

I Googled “free Easter clip art” and up popped  this beautiful image from Clipart.com. It is  perfect for a greeting card, all I did was add the typography and print it out.
