Can you believe it is already Autumn? Autumn used to be my favorite season but as I get older I can’t decide which season I rate as #1. Each season has it’s advantages and I am thinking Spring just might be edging out Autumn!
My friend gave me a bag of colorful buttons and I sorted out the pretty fall colored buttons to make this flat lay card. Since the buttons are not glued down, I can use them for another craft!
Step One: draw a tree trunk on the cardstock and color with paint or permanent markers.
Step Two: draw some whimsical hills and fill them in with dots from a paint pen.
Step Three: Place the collection of buttons at for the fall leaves.
Step Four: Draw on a whimsical border with fall colored permanent markers.
Step Five: Cut out magazine font letters to spell your sentiment.
I took a photo of the greeting card flat lay so I can print it out over and over again. If you don’t have photo software to make a flat lay card, you can glue the buttons down for a pretty OOAK greeting card to celebrate Autumn.
