These cute little earrings were inspired by a fruit bowl container I got at a local grocery store. All it took was scissors and some pretty fingernail polish to finish this makeover.
Usually I use the flat parts of plastic but this time I used the curved parts! After cutting out sections the pieces have a nice little curve to add interest to the design.
I covered the backs of the side pieces with melon nail polish and made stripes of melon and hot pink for the center piece. Be sure to paint on the backs of the plastic pieces that way the fronts will be shiny and not show any strokes from the nail polish brush.
I love how the nail polish looks on the fronts. It is so crisp and clean. All that was left to do was punch holes in the tops and add earring findings.
Ta Dah! Fresh earrings to brighten the day. These can be made in colors to match your new outfit for a one of a kind accessory.
