I have had so much fun altering the Altoid-type tins I got on Amazon. I purchased a bag of 24 of them and it is so easy to decorate them. I have used up almost all of my collection of fabric store trims that I have been storing for years! I had an extra red jingle bell in last years Christmas craft box and it really brightens the Jingle Bell sheet music.
Step One: Use Mod Podge or school glue to attach the printable to the top. (Glue stick doesn’t hold up very well.)
Step Two: Decorate the sides. I used two different types of braided trims ( almost out of my pile I have had for 10 years!)
Step Three: Add glitter glue to the top edges and sides. LET DRY.
Step Four: Use glue stick to line the insides with the sheet music. I used Mod Podge to apply the sheet music to the bottom…for some reason glue stick lifts easily on the outside surfaces.
These altered Altoid tins can be filled with gift cards, cash, jewelry, or a handful of candy. I have made a free printable of the pieces if you want to make some of your own!

What a wonderful recycling idea and it was so nice of you to provide printable music sheets!
