Repurposed Broken Clock Makeover #2

I’m always trying to think up a craft to use mandalas! Isn’t this mandala themed clock fun?

Usually I have to scrounge for items to repurpose at garage sales or thrift stores. I got the supplies for three new repurposing ideas from an accident in my studio! I had purchased this clock at a garage sale a few years ago because the clock was so cute and it had personality I thought my studio needed. It fell from it’s home on the top shelf and had a 6″ fall then the clock hands flew off!

For this project I used the clock face which is about 6″ across which is the perfect size for a wall clock.

I printed out the clock face and used slightly larger mandalas for where the numbers 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock go. I originally wanted to use more of the colored beads but decided to just use the larger wood beads.

Cut 20 gauge annealed wire and make a loop on the end to hold the wood bead, then use a pencil to make a wire “squiggle” then attach the clip art mandala (ETSY). FYI: the printed mandala was attached to cardboard with a glue stick to make it sturdy.
