Nom, nom, nom, nom! Not only gluten free but LOW CARB! I have been looking for a recipe that I could not only make, but make it my own so I did some experimenting!
Ingredients and directions:
The first time I microwaved it 45 seconds….a little too long. 30 seconds is perfect to soften the cream cheese and give the mozzarella some softness to blend with the egg and almond flour better.
This is what it should look like after egg and almond flour are added.
I wet my hands with water to pat the (very soft) dough into two rounds.
Put them in the 450 F.oven for 10 minutes then take the crusts out and add sauce and your favorite pizza toppings+ more cheese.
Since I am doing keto right now I made little piles of keto foods to decorate one pizza. My favorite sauce is basil pesto which I used right from the jar and spread a thin layer on the pizza crust after it has baked for 10 minutes.
Then you pop it back in the oven after you have added your favorite ingredients a little more cheese and until the cheese is bubbly….mmmmm low carb pizza!
