This card came into being after I left some packages at our local UPS/USPS drop off store. The couple that operate the store are very friendly and I give them a lot of business as I have two Etsy shops. Recently as I opened their door they both looked up from behind their desks at the same time and interupted each other as they clamored to explain I had mismarked a package and they corrected the problem for me…no charge. I had put a “parcel” label on a “priority box” so they opened the incorrect box, found a card board box to put it in and taped on the original label. Problem solved.
I was overwhelmed with gratefulness for their kindness often missing in this world. I had some time before an eye appointment and decided to go home before my appointment and make this appreciation card while the feelings were fresh in my mind.
Step One: Place washi tape borders on the top and bottom of a piece of cardstock that measures 5 x 7 when it is folded.
Step Two: Use glue stick to attach the FREE MAGAZINE FONT.
That’s it!
Of course I took another step and scanned the card front into my computer so I could make this free printable for you.
I planned to tuck in a $10.00 gift card from a local coffee shop or a place like Dairy Queen which is right down the road from the drop off store. I thought “WHY?” what if they don’t drink coffee? or go to DQ? So I took out a $10.00 and put it in the card.
I am very appreciative of their kindness and it is fun to show it!
A very Merry Christmas to you and your family. I have enjoyed looking at all your crafty items. Happy New Year too!
