Thinking Outside of the Box: Cord Stasher Pocket Envelope

Last year my family gifted me a Kindle, Amazon Fire and laptop!  There are cords everywhere and there is no way you can describe the cords as “cute.”  I keep the Kindle always plugged at my bedside.  However I keep the Amazon Fire in the hutch for the computer desk.

It makes sense to keep the cord close to the Amazon Fire…but not so pretty!

My daughter purchased this really pretty case for the Fire and I got the brainstorm to make two actual size color copies of the graphic to print out on heavy cardstock paper to make a pocket to hold the cord.

Step One:  Make two actual size color copies of the graphic on heavy cardstock paper.

Step Two:  Use pinking shears to cut finish the edges.

Step Three: Use hot glue to glue the pieces together.

WooHoo!  Now you have a matching “pocket” to hide the charging cord!

Now my cubbie looks so neat and organized!
